For proofreading, transcripts should be fully scoped before they reach me.

Saturday and Sunday count as one day toward my turnaround time. If I receive work on Friday at 5 p.m., you will receive it back on Tuesday at 5 p.m., for a 72-hour turnaround.

For proofreading, if I receive work after 8 p.m. ET, I will count it for the next business day. In all other cases, the time when it was sent is when I start my work.

For scoping, if I receive work after 12 p.m., I will count the start date for the next day.

If the transcript is being sent in sections, each section will be rated upon receipt.
Invoicing
Standard billing will be sent out on the 1st and the 15th of each month. Clients will have 15 days to submit payment.
New clients will be billed immediately upon completion of the transcript and will have 7 days to submit payment.
I accept payments through debit, all major credit cards, ACH, PayPal, Zelle, and checks. A late fee of $10 will be added to the invoice every month after the due date.
Proofreading With Audio
The transcript must be scoped before it comes to me.
I use Express Scribe, and audio
can be sent as WAV, MP3, WMA, or DCT files.
For larger files, I use Dropbox.
If proofing in PDF, timestamps must be provided for spot-checking. For each time checked, $0.30 will be added to the total invoice.
Extra Charges

My rates are set for double-spaced pages with 25 lines. Additional or fewer lines in the transcript will add/subtract $0.02 per line from my rate.

Jobs with frequent errors (more than 80%) will be billed an extra $0.10.
